7 classes of cars will run in '06 with the Late Model Sportsman and Modified feature divisions running every other race date. The Grand Stocks will also run a staggered schedule as will the U-Car, Legends and Pro-Six cars. The cars, formerly run as Enduro cars, will run 10 event dates under the new title of Street Stocks and subject to regular racing rules. Qualifying will be by time trials and heat laps, depending upon the division.

An open practice, for all racing divisions, is scheduled for Saturday, March 25th, weather permitting. Pit gate will open at 10 am. Practice will be held noon to 5pm. The public is invited to watch at no cost.

Gary Fox and Chris Stefi will serve as "Co-Chief Stewards" this season. Fox has been a part of the scene at Southside for nearly 30 years, serving as chief steward under Joe Kelly, Joe Baldacci and Debbie Unger. He also has served as flagman and scorer. Stefi was a Late Model driver at Southside in the 90's. He then served as the pace car driver for Fox, flagman in '05 under Dave Wesson.
